Builder

Philip Wood is a Texas native and graduate of Texas A&M University . Growing up, he was involved in agriculture- working on his father's farm and raising animals through FFA.  While at A&M, he even studied Ag Economics.  However, he realized his passion for building homes in 2004 and has been building in the Houston area since. After working for several other builders, Philip decided to start Wood Custom Homes with a focus on building relationships with every client. His goal is for every customer to enjoy the building process knowing that their ideas and investment are in caring and meticulous hands.  He wants to build luxury homes that clients will be proud to live in for a lifetime.

Philip is loyal, hard working, and has a servant's heart. In his personal life and business, he is guided by his Christian beliefs.  He may occasionally tell a dad joke, and he can grill a delicious steak dinner. When he is not building, Philip enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children, watching sporting events- especially the Aggies, and spending time outdoors.
